From K-dramas to the stars, our journey through television continues. Today, Eugene and David discuss episode one of the newest Star Trek franchise, Picard. Growing up, both of us were fans of The Next Generation, so returning to the world of Jean-Luc Picard feels a little like coming home. We talk through the many twists and turns of the pilot episode (Data's back!), what we liked and didn't like, and give our thoughts on the essence of what makes Star Trek, Star Trek. Live long and prosper, and thanks for listening!

It’s happening! Eugene is watching a Korean drama. And not just any, but the smash hit, Crash Landing On You. This show was popular enough even in the United States that there was a lengthy story about it in the Washington Post (link below). In today’s podcast, Eugene and David talk about episode 5 of the show, our likes and dislikes, North Korean culture, and our thoughts about Kdramas in general. Eugene also gives a verdict for what future (if any) K-dramas may have in his television consumption. Crash Landing is currently available on Netflix. As always, thank you for listening!
